Priscilla joined the African Swine Fever Vaccinology group at The Pirbright Institute after obtaining her PhD from the Royal Veterinary College and The Pirbright Institute. Her PhD focused on the major antiviral defense pathway of mosquitoes to develop mosquito strains that are resistant to infection by the alphavirus chikungunya. Prior to joining Pirbright she worked in DSO National Laboratories, Singapore, and was involved in the development of fieldable blood products for combat trauma care.
