Biography

Dr. Ravi Gupta is a PhD in Microbiology and has worked for over 2 decades in Biotechnology and Microbiology research with a successful career. Currently, he is working as Manager at Indovax Private Limited, Hissar, India and has served in past at different positions in Central Research Institute (CRI) MoHFW GoI, Panjab University Chandigarh India, and PGIMER Chandigarh India.

He is a Vaccine R&D Scientist, a Microbiologist, a Quality Control & Quality Assurance leader and a ONE HEALTH enthusiast with experience in conceptualization, R&D programs and technology transfers. He has worked on many projects including academic labs, industry research & development labs, manufacturing and quality settings. He is a proven experience in GLP and GMP settings for vaccine development and manufacturing. He is well-acquainted in scientific and regulatory requirements in India. His has contributed to many R&D projects including development of bacterial and viral vaccine candidates (human and veterinary) and antibodies-based diagnosis.

He is Member Secretary to the Institutional Animal Ethics Committee and Institutional BioSafety Committee, also.

Some of his key achievements are:32 national & international research publications, 4 Successful Grant proposals, 1 Patent application, Presented 15 Presentations/Poster, Life member of Association of Microbiologists of India, Reviewer for many Scientific Journals, Member of Editorial Board of 2 journals, Has guided 1 PhD and 5 Master’s Degree students as co-guide.
