Pump-priming grants of up to £100,000 are available to allow IVVN members to accelerate their vaccine research, in order to improve vaccine development for livestock and zoonotic diseases in low-and-middle income countries (LMICs).
Pump-priming projects should aim to address a key bottleneck preventing the development of a vaccine, and will be awarded via competitive application to the IVVN Network Management Board.
Applicants must be members of the IVVN, with up-to-date member profiles, and we particularly welcome applications from members who are Early Career Researchers and/or based in LMICs and/or female researchers and/or based in industry. All applications must include IVVN members from at least two different research organisations, and the lead applicant (principal investigator) must be based in the UK or LMIC. All projects must also contain a UK-based applicant.
Please fully read the IVVN Pump-Priming Grant Call Guidance Notes fully before applying. Those applicants based in either China or India should email IVVN [at] roslin [dot] ed [dot] ac [dot] uk to discuss eligibility.
Completed application forms and associated documents should be sent to the IVVN at IVVN [at] roslin [dot] ed [dot] ac [dot] uk by 9am BST on Monday 29 April 2024.
