IVVN Grant Writing Workshop

On Sunday 25th March 2018, prior to the first meeting of the IVVN in Nairobi, we hosted a grant-writing workshop for 40 researchers (MSc students, PhD students, Post Docs, and Senior Researchers) from the United Kingdom (UK) and low-and-middle income countries (LMICs).

The African Vaccinology Network (AfVANET) hosted its first scientific workshop at the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) in Nairobi, Kenya, on March 19th and 20th 2019.

Towards a vaccine for animal African trypanosomiasis

Animal African trypanosomiasis is one of the most significant infectious disease threats to livestock across sub-Saharan Africa, and is also important across Asia and South America. This workshop brought together representatives to discuss recent advances and how to facilitate vaccination research.
