About the Webinar
Join us for a special IVVN webinar delivered in partnership with the World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH), exploring the role of vaccines in sustainable animal disease control.
This session will highlight key outcomes from the 2025 Animal Health Forum on Vaccines and Vaccination, and showcase current WOAH initiatives aimed at strengthening global vaccine systems — including reference centre networks, standards, and guidelines for vaccines such as African swine fever (ASF). The webinar will also discuss the integration of vaccination into broader global disease strategies, including examples related to PPR, rabies, and FMD, with attention to wildlife.
Speakers from WOAH will also touch on the organisation’s vaccine bank and the PPR eradication programme, before opening the floor to questions and discussion.
Speakers
1. Dr Gregorio Torres, WOAH
2. Nathaly Monsalve, WOAH
