STAR IDAZ IRC Brucellosis Vaccine Workshop Report

STAR IDAZ International Research Consortium (IRC) is pleased to share the Brucellosis Vaccine Workshop Report, developed during our expert workshop held on 3 November 2025 in San José, Costa Rica, alongside the Brucellosis International Conference 2025.

The report reflects contributions from experts representing over 18 institutions across more than 12 countries, including academia, WOAH reference centres, national governments, and global research programmes.

The report highlights:

• Key research gaps and vaccine priorities
• Needs and challenges in affected countries
• Opportunities to improve and modernise current vaccines
• Recommendations feeding into the update of the Brucellosis Vaccine Research Roadmap
