Ishtiaq Ahmed graduated in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Agriculture Faisalabad in 2005 and completed his master's in Vet. Pathology in 2007.  Later in 2014, he was awarded a scholarship by the Turkish scientific and technological research council for the Ph.D. program. He earned his doctorate from the Ondokuz mayis university Samsun, Turkey in 2018. Currently, he is working as an  Associate Professor in the Pathology department at UVAS, Lahore, Pakistan
