Biography

I am Cameroonian, I obtained my BSc in Biochemistry from the University of Buea in Cameroon in 2014. Presently I am an MSc student in Biochemistry at the University of Buea-Cameroon. I have finished my course work and presently working on my research on Onchocerciasis which is a disease that affects both humans and animals.I have a keen interest in the development of chimeric protein molecules that can be used as diagnostics and vaccines.

Research interests

I have an interest in human and animal health and I am a member of a research group of postgraduate students of the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology of the University of Buea. Our work is aimed to design, develop and immunologically assess chimeric vaccine candidates for onchocerciasis and other neglected tropical diseases. Our focus is thus the in-silico generation of potential multi- B/T-epitope subunit vaccine candidates for based on immune-informatics analysis. Our research is currently going on on the development of a chimeric vaccine candidate for Leishmania will be submitted as a proposal for funding
