<p>Dr. Le Thanh Hien is currently the head of department of infectious diseases and Veterinary public health in Faculty of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine- Nong Lam University. He got his DVM at Nong Lam University, HCMC in 1999 and then had been working there as an assistant researcher. From 2003 – 2005, he was studying in University of California (USA) for his master degree in Preventive Veterinary Medicine and then he went to University of Guelph (Canada) for his doctoral degree from 2008 – 2012, specializing in veterinary epidemiology. Till now, he has published many research papers in epidemiology and also written 2 reference books. Beside teaching and doing research, he has been cooperating with many companies and organizations in the field of veterinary medicine to enhance scientific research as well as application of epidemiology</p>
