Veterinary Vaccines Technical Consultant
Cantum Biosciences Ltd
Biography

Before creating Cantum Biosciences in 2012, I worked over 20 years in veterinary vaccine development, first as a bench scientist, then in industry for major international pharmaceutical companies in Belgium and UK, holding various technical R&D and regulatory roles, providing technical guidance for the development of vaccines destined to most animal species, writing technical reports and regulatory dossiers, managing regulatory procedures and answering their technical lists of questions.
During 16 years, I was appointed to the Biological Working Party of the International Federation of Animal Health Industries (IFAH, now Health for Animals), directly influencing the EU and international veterinary vaccines technical and regulatory legislation.

Since January 2012, I'm working as an independent consultant providing technical services in veterinary vaccines development and regulatory affairs to research laboratories, start-ups and established animal health companies. I also act as a technical expert to government bodies funding veterinary vaccine development in Africa and South East Asia. Further details can be found on www.cantumbio.co.uk or on my LinkedIN profile.

I'm holding a BSc in Biomedical Sciences, a Master Degree in Biomedical Technologies and a PhD in Medical Sciences (Molecular Biology & Immunology), all granted by the University of Louvain (UCL), Belgium.

I'm fluent in English & French and have solid notions of Spanish and Portuguese which I currently continue to perfect.
