Biography

Dr. Anju Manuja is Principal Scientist (Veterinary Medicine) at ICAR-National Research Centre on Equines, Hisar, (Haryana) India. She received her PhD in Veterinary Medicine from CCS HAU, Hisar, Haryana, India. She worked at Roslin Institute, Edinburgh (UK) for pursuing a part of her Ph.D research. She has published more than 100 scientific peer reviewed papers in journals and conference proceedings. She also worked as visiting scientist at Vaccine and Infectious Disease Organization, Saskatoon (Canada). During her professional career, she is recipient of several prestigious awards. Her current research activities are in the area of nanomedicine, tissue repair,  immunomodulation, cytotoxicity, drug delivery and drug evaluation in animal models. She is also working in the areas of disease monitoring & surveillance, diagnosis and control of infectious diseases.
