DVM and MSc in Molecular Biotechnology, with a broad experience in fish pathology. Also he has worked on the identification and characterization of peptides by MALDI TOF/TOF mass spectrometry technique, diagnosis of fish diseases and development of rapid diagnostic test. Currently, he is working on the development of fish vaccines (DNA) and probiotics for fish.
He is also the co-founder of Pezbiotec, a Peruvian company dedicated to researching and application of biotechnology in aquaculture.
