I have obtained a degree in Biochemistry (2013) followed by a Ph.D. (2018) in Microbiology and Mucosal Immunology from National University of Tucuman, Argentina. During my Ph.D. My research area is mucosal immunology. I am interesting in the generation of human intestinal ex vivo models. Using an innovative co-culture system of immune cells-intestinal epithelium, my research focus on understand host immune responses and mechanisms of defense against enteric pathogens such as Shigella and E. coli.
