Biography

Qualified biologist, PhD in Animal Health and Food Safety

My scientific background  is in microbiology, particularly mycobacteriology, molecular biology and cell culture.

Research interests

Actually i am working on the application of 3R principles (Replace, Reduce, Refine) of animal testing in veterinary autogenous vaccines control.

Projects you're working on

Production of recombinant Leptospira interrogans outer memebrane proteins , with the aim to develop an in house ELISA dignostic kit.

Evalutaion of passive immunity in lambs and piglets, vaccinated with new autogenous vaccines against Manheimia haemolitica and Streptococcus suis respectively, by an in house Elisa test.

Production of recombinant protein, as candidate vaccine against EBHS infection in hares.

Application of 3Rs and in vitro methods to veterinary autgenous vaccine safety and quality control pathway.

Susceptibility of lagomorphs to SARS Cov2 infection.
