Biography

Sandra Sigauke is a Zimbabwean born in 1990. She is a qualified Veterinarian, Sandra completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Zimbabwe (UZ) in 2017. She holds a Master's in Veterinary Vaccine Production and Quality control from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. Sandra is a lecturer in Vaccinology and Immunology in the Department of Veterinary Pathobiology at the University of Zimbabwe. She is the Chief Operations Officer for the Vaccine Production Unit in that Department and a member of the Research and Innovation committee for the faculty of Veterinary Science at UZ. Sandra's main interests are vaccine awareness and availability as well as vaccine regulation and quality control. She aims to safeguard animal and human health, promote production, and improve welfare through sound, research-based veterinary education and training.
