Biography

Kenneth Bitrus David is the Founder of Pharmafluence and currently an intern Pharmacist at the National Ear Care Centre Kaduna. He graduated from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Kaduna State University in 2017 but got inducted into the Pharmacy profession in 2019 due to the delayed accreditation of the Faculty by regulatory bodies -Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) and National Universities Commission (NUC). He was the Immediate past PANS Public Health Team Chairperson, Kaduna State University Chapter, IPSF-PANS KASU Liaison Officer, Chairman of the Editorial Board, PANS KASU Chapter, as well as the Pioneer Academic Coordinator, National Fellowship of Christian Pharmacy Students (NFCPS) KASU Chapter, a position he held for three (3) years (2014 - 2017). He was the Logistic Officer II, Local Organizing Committee (Registration) at the just included 92nd Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN) Annual Conference in Kaduna State.

Pharm. Kenneth had attended various Conferences and Seminars with some of his research works published in High-Impact Value Journals. He is an alumnus of the African Leadership Institute, Kaduna State Drugs and Health Supplies Management Agency (KADHSMA) Pilot Supply Chain Hub. 

He is currently a Member of the International Pharmaceutical Students'Federation (IPSF) Editorial Board, Assistant Chief Intern Pharmacist, National Ear Care Centre Kaduna, and  an Executive Member of the PSN-Young Pharmacist Group (PSN-YPG) Conference Planning Committee (CPC).

 

He is a member of numerous international organizations such as the International Pharmaceutical Students'Federation (IPSF),  Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene, International Association of Public Health Logisticians (IAPHL),  International AIDS Society (IAS), Commonwealth Pharmacy Association (CPA), International Society for Infectious Diseases among others.

Kenneth Bitrus David is one of the nominees for the Pharmanews PANSite of Year Award, 2019 and the Pharmanews Young Pharmacist of the Year Award 2020, an initiative introduced in 2018 by Pharmanews to recognise and encourage innovation and active involvement of young pharmacists in public healthcare and community health/social development.
