Biography

I graduated from Veterinary College and Research Institute, Namakkal, Tamil Nadu, India during 1994. I did my post graduation in Veterinary Microbiology at college of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Mannuthy, Kerala during 2006 and I did my Ph.D., in Veterinary Microbiology at Madras Veterinary College, Chennai during 2003 to 2007. Presently working as Professor in the Department of Veterinary Microbiology, Veterinary College and Research Institute, Namakkal, India.

 

Research interests

1. Production of bacteriophages against multi drug resistant bacteria causing diseases in livestock

2. Development of inactivated vaccines against multi drug resistant bacteria causing diseases in livestock

3. Development of nanoparticle vaccines against poultry pathogens

4. development for microbial consortium for dead bird composting
