Adélia de Paula is the Knowledge Exchange Officer for the "The Bloomsbury SET: Connecting Capability to Combat the Threat from Infectious Disease and Antimicrobial Resistance", a £5-million project funded by Research England's Connecting Capability Fund from 2018-2021. The project brings together academic and professional service teams from four University of London Colleges: RVC (lead institution), LSE, LSHTM and SOAS, University of London.
Originally from Brazil, Adélia has been in the UK since 2000. Previously, she worked at Rothamsted Research as a Science Communicator, Science Education Specialist and Coordinator for the BBSRC-NERC Sustainable Intensification Research Network (SIRN) - a community-led initiative for UK academics that aims to achieve better integration of research and resources and looks for innovative approaches to address sustainable agriculture.
