Mr. Chea Rortana

Host University: Department of Biomedical Science, Swedish University of Agriculture Science, Upsala, Sweden. 

Funding: Human and Animal Health Program, International Livestock Research Institute, Via Safe Food Fair Food for Cambodia. 

Current occupation: National of Animal Health and Production Research Institute, General Directorate of Animal Health and Production, Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

 

Research interests

Bacteriology, antimicrobial resistances, epidemiology, food safety, risk assessment.  

Projects you're working on

Safe Food Fair Food for Cambodia.

The Safe Food, Fair Food (SFFF) for Cambodia project started in 2017 aiming to assess the multiple burden of food borne diseases associated with the key ASFs value chains, and to adapt and evaluate a market-based approach to reduce the burden of foodborne disease in informal, emerging formal, and niche markets and targeting small and medium scale producers.
