Biography

Born on November 08, 1994 in Guili in the department of Mayo-Tsanaga, district of Bourha in the Far North region of Cameroon, I studied nursery, primary and secondary school in the South-West region of Cameroon more precisely in Buea where I had the opportunity to attend the nursery school of the Military Camp, the French-speaking public school of Buea and the Bilingual Grammar School of Buea (BGS). I then consecutively obtained my first school living Certificate, Undergraduate Degree Certificate (UDC) in this region in 2005 and 2009 respectively. In 2011, I moved to the North Cameroon region to continue my studies at the High school of ouro-ourso Garoua, a Chinese camp where I did the lower-sixth and upper-sixth in experimental sciences. In 2012 and 2013, I obtained with brilliance my diplomas of General Certificate of Education: Ordinary Level and Advance level (GCE. OL and AL), option experimental science. I have travelled to the Central region (Yaounde) in 2013 to continue my studies at the University of Yaounde I in Microbiology. In 2015 and 2019, I obtained my Bachelor's degree in General Microbiology and Master's degree in Medical Microbiology. In June 2020, I was awarded the Wellcome Trust Senior Fellowship Renewal (SFR) Grant from Professor WONDJI Charles to conduct research in Microbiology and Medical Entomology. I also did many internships in research laboratories. I have also held some key positions in civil society and in associative life such as Student Delegate, Vice-President of the Microbiology Club, Director of the Cabinet of the President of the Student Association of the Faculty of Science (SAFAS) of the University of Yaounde I, Librarian at the Bana Students' Circle (BSC), President of the Association of Active and Solidarity Youth of the North (AASYN) and President of the Microbiology Club to date.
