Biography

I, Rebecca Bitiyong Atai was born on the 1st Sept., 1985 in Kaduna State, Nigeria. I hail from Tachira, Kaura Local Government Area of Kaduna State. My background is Microbiology and I hold an MSc in the same course. I am currently in my PhD program in Nigeria in the field of virology. I am a research officer with the National Veterinary Research Institute, Vom, Nigeria. I have a keen interest in virology, vaccinology  and zoonosis. 

Research interests

I have good interest in virology, biotechnology and diagnostic testing especially in Capripoxviruses and arboviruses. I am also interested in vaccinology though am green in the practical aspect.
