I am a fish health specialist from MSD Animal Health, with 15 years experience in the industry related to aquatic biosecurity and disease control solutions.  In 2006, I joined the legacy company Intervet as a scientist, working on fish vaccine R&D in Singapore. Merger and acquisitions between legacy Intervet, legacy Schering-Plough, and MSD led to the create of the current company, MSD Animal Health. During this period, I transited from the R&D organization (after 10 years) to my current role as the Global Technical Manager that is part of MSD's Global Aquaculture Marketing team. In this role, I am responsible for promoting aquaculture sustainability and providing field technical support across three continents: Asia, Africa, and Latin America. Activities includes education, training, awareness building, technical/business/market support on vaccines and disease control for fish farmers. From my years spent in R&D focusing on tilapia and tilapia diseases, I had gathered extensive knowledge on field applications for tilapia disease prevention and biosecurity. To date, I had successfully co-developed three MSD fish vaccines commercially marketed under the AQUAVAC® brand name.
