Biography

I have been working as a researcher for 8 years in molecular virology, microbiology and gene editing techniques at Genome Research Unit, Animal Health Research Institute, Egypt. I intend to continue my research life as a virologist as I have been a visiting scholar at Auburn University, USA for application of CRISPR gene editing techniques, cloning, xenogenesis, stem cells preparation and cryopreservation, microinjection, and other genetics skills. Moreover, I hold a master's degree in the development of Nano-based biosensor for Foot and Mouth Disease Virus from Cairo University with cooperation with Teramo University, Italy.Furthermore, I am highly motivated to continue my research to seek new diagnostic techniques for viruses, vaccine design, understanding viral/host interaction and enhancing immune response to combat infectious diseases.

1- Technical Skills:

- Acquainted on the molecular biology and gene editing techniques (CRISPR/Cas 9, Cloning, Sequencing, Primer design, PCR, Real time PCR, Equine DNA parentage test).

- Acquainted on Gold Nanoparticles preparation and Gold Nanoparticles Characterization).

2- Software Skills:

(Sequence analyzer, Gene Mapper, Bioedit, MEGA 7, Primer design, and Gene bank tools)
