Biography

Muhammad Younas Phd scholar in parasitology University of veterinary and animal sciences, Lahore Pakistan. currently i am also working as a research associate in fully funded project Grand challanged fund entilited as "Tackling food security by controlling tick and tick borne parasite in bovine" and my participation in vaccine development against Ixodide tick Riphicephalus microplus and Hyalomma anatolicum tick.

expertise in molecular identification of parasite, PCR, Gel electrophoresis, DNA extraction, SDS-PAGE, Western blotting, ELISA, Flow cytometry, bioinformatics, protein modelling, vaccine designing, protein expression,.

Research interests

My research interest is in vaccine development against ticks and blood protozoan of cattle. basically, I am a veterinary and master of philosophy in parasitology.  bioinformatics, identification of potential vaccine candidates, development of vaccine using immunoinformatic tools, protein expression, western blotting, ELISA, flow cytometry, Next generation sequencing.

Projects you're working on

currently, I am working on the development and evaluation of a multiepitope-based vaccine against Rhipicephalus microplus and Hyalomma anatolicum tick in cattle. this study is a part of a fully funded project entitled "tackling food security by controlling tick and tick-borne diseases in bovine"
