Biography

Research Fellow in Bacterial Zoonoses at the Moredun Research Institute. My current research is focused on generating recombinant subunit and live attenuated vaccines against Coxiella burnetii for use in livestock. I am also interested in applying high throughput genomics technologies to further understand the pathogenesis of zoonotic bacteria and to indentify novel host and bacterial targets for the development of vaccines and therapeutics.
