Biography

• Aquatic animal health professional with expertise in fish health and vaccine development.
• Extensive experience in developing aquaculture health products, functional feed ingredients, vaccines, anti-virulence therapeutics and probiotics; process and product optimization, managing wet lab & quarantine facilities, field trials, regulatory approvals and licensing.
• Advanced experience in laboratory management, veterinary and fish disease diagnostics, water quality, feed testing, seafood safety, HACCP, quality control, laboratory accreditation (ISO:17025), HSEQ and continuous improvement.
• World-wide aquaculture experience with a variety of cold water and warm water species in intensive RAS and cage, herd health, biosecurity and welfare.
• Experience in optimizing aquaculture systems, design, capacity building and efficiency improvement for optimum allocation of CapEx and OpEx.
