Biography

Jade Bokma is a veterinarian (2017, Ghent University), and finished her doctorate in June 2021 with the title: “Innovations in rapid Mycoplasma bovis diagnostics with MALDI-TOF MS and nanopore sequencing”. She is currently working as a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Internal medicine, Reproduction, and Population medicine (Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Ghent University) where she is part of a research group focusing on bovine respiratory disease and rational antimicrobial use.
