Biography

I have a remarkable competitive spirit who completed my high schools and BSc degrees with excellent academic records and high caliber discipline. Because of my enormous interest to study biological science courses during my high school studies I joined Ambo University and successfully completed my Bachelor degree in veterinary Laboratory technology.During my bachelor degree studies, I develop a huge interest in one health approach while attending zoonosis and microbiology courses at my department. I was deeply astonished by how one health approach control and prevent the disease in both animals and humans. In 2013 I employed at Darolebu wereda Veterinary clinic and got some experience on sample collection and laboratory diagnosis. In the Feb 2015, I have got an opportunity to join Holeta National Agrecultural Biotechnology Research Center. In this Center, I have got a direct exposure on use of molecular biology technique to diagnose disease and use for different research which helped me to further extend my research interest in this area.

Thus, during the Oct 2015, I was employed at National Animal Health Diagnostic and Investigation Center, Molecular biology Department unit. Following this, I continued working on different research topic including both animal and Zoonotic diseases like Brucellosis, TB, Anthrax, Avian influenza and poultry diseases. I attended many National and international conference entitled as basic technique of molecular biology, PCR (Real time and Conventional) genome sequence, Validation ,Verification and Emplementation of molecular diagnostic methods, Early detection and characterization of Trans boundary Animal disease.
