Biography

I earned Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree in Vietnam in 2000, then Master of Tropical Veterinary Science at James Cook University, Australia in 2007 (Development of Molecular Diagnostics for Surveillance of Avian Influenza in North Queensland) and then PhD at EpiCentre - Massey University in New Zealand (The Epidemiology of Avian Influenza in the Mekong River Delta of Vietnam) in 2013.

I have worked for the Department of Animal Health (at different division of Veterinary Drug and Vaccine Management and Epidemiology) since April 2000. Currently, I and a Chief of DAH's division and Secretary of the National Steering Committee for Research and Development of Vaccines for Animal (that is firstly leading by Vice Minister and secondly leading by Director General of Department of Animal Health).

I am principle investigator of several key research project funded by the government of the US, New Zealand and international organizations (FAO and OIE).

I have a number of internationally published scientific papers and text books that are using for veterinary students at universities in Vietnam.

Research interests

- Vaccine research and development. - Control of infectious diseases and zoonotic diseases in animals. - Surveillance
