Prevalence study and genetic typing of bovine viral diarrhea virus (BVDV) in four bovine species in China.

Research Team Member, Oct 2012 - Jun 2014

Collected serum samples from dairy cattle, beef cattle, yaks, and water buffalo from eight provinces of China during 2010 to 2013.
Samples detected by using commercial BVDV antibody (Ab) and antigen (Ag) detection kits and RT-PCR based on the 5’-UTR and Npro gene sequencing.
Analysis of the data and genetic typing of bovine viral diarrhea virus (BVDV)

Construction and immunogenicity of a recombinant Bovine herpesvirus 1 expressing glycoprotein E2 of bovine viral diarrhoea virus and glycoprotein D of Bovine herpesvirus 1.

Research Team Member, June 2013 – June 2016

Cloning of wild-type Bovine herpesvirus 1 and BoHV-1 △gG/△tk genome as an infectious BAC.
Pre-expressed gD-E2 fusion gene in 293T cell drivered by difference promoter.
Inserted gD-E2 fusion gene into difference site of BoHV-1 BAC
Reconstituted recombinant virus and analyzed native antigenic properties of gD-E2
Study the immunogenicity and protective efficacy of recombinant virus in calves.
