Biography

Anmaw Shite studied Veterinary Medicine, and joined the University of Gondar as a lecturer in September 2014. He pursued EMJMD Leading International Vaccinology Education (LIVE) in Spain, Belgium and France from 2016 to 2018. Currently, he is teaching Veterinary MSc Immunology and Microbiology Students. Alongside his academic duties, he is participating in research.  His research area focuses on host - pathogen interaction, microbial pathogenesis, immunity to infection and vaccine development.

Research interests

 I am interested in team based research in the areas of host- pathogen interaction, microbial pathogenesis and vaccine development.

 I have also a special interest to develop safer and more efficient vaccines that will help to treat and prevent different diseases that bring huge loss in economy, health and social status.
