Biography

I am Mudassar Mohiuddin, born in Faisalabad, Pakistan. I finished my school education at Degree College Rafiqui, Shorkot. I did Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from University of Agriculture, Faisalabad (UAF). After that I enrolled for MPhil in Microbiology from the same university. During my MPhil, I worked on isolation, identification and molecular diagnosis of animal pathogens. My dissertation topic was “Immune response of rabbits to hemorrhagic septicemia vaccine formulations adjuvanted with Montanide ISA-206, paraffin oil and alum”. Meanwhile, I joined Animal Sciences Division, NIAB, Faisalabad; where I was appointed as an Assistant Production Manager in HS Oil based vaccine unit. Later on, I started my doctoral degree in the discipline of Microbiology. I was awarded scholarship from Higher Education Commission of Pakistan for my entire degree. My PhD research was on “Molecular epidemiology of C. perfringens isolated from small ruminants”. After completion of Doctoral degree in Microbiology, I joined the department of Pathobiology, College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Islamia University of Bahawalpur as Assistant Professor.
