Biography

My name is Olivier M. ZANNOU. I am a postdoctoral scientist in Animal Health at International Livestock research Institute in Bamako, Mali. I have acquired a solid background in veterinary science and animal disease epidemiology. I have a PhD in epidemiology.  I have also acquired a good professional experience in the management of animal health problems during my career in the veterinary services of Benin. During my doctoral training in Belgium and Burkina Faso, I was familiarized in modelling animal diseases and some laboratory technics (PCR, ELISA, Microbiology etc.). I was involved in the management of many epizootic and zoonotic diseases in my country. I also had some training in management of transboundary animal diseases.
