Biography

I, Dr. Muhammad Asad Ali is PhD in Microbiology and serving at Institute of Microbiology for the last thirteen years as a faculty member. I am secretary, Board of Faculty, Faculty of Veterinary Science. I have more than 50 publications in national and international impact factor and HEC recognized journals on my credit. I am focal Person, BSL-3 Laboratory for Emerging Pathogens, Institute of Microbiology, UVAS, Lahore, involved in the testing of COVID-19 suspected human samples and has been awarded the certificate of appreciation from Chief Minister, Punjab, Secretary Primary and Secondary Health Department, Punjab and President, Pakistan Veterinary Medical Council for my outstanding performance in fight against COVID-19. I also have co-authored one extension booklet; one popular press publication, two manuals, won 04 research grants including one as PI and three as Co-operative scientist; supervised 30 M.Phil students; currently supervising 01 PhD and 05 M.Phil students. I have participated in more than 50 national and international conferences as organizer, presenter or invited speaker.
