Biography
I am a young early career scientist born April 8, 1990. I am a graduate of Covenant University where I studied Biochemistry and had my Bachelor's degree (2012) and masters degree (2015 ) respectively. I bagged my PhD in Applied Biochemistry from the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Nigeria where I studied the comparative effects of caffeine, catechin and theobromine on scopolamine induced cognitive dysfunction in Wistar rats. I work with the University of Medical Sciences, Ondo, Nigeria (2015 till date) at the department of biochemistry, faculty of basic medical sciences. I am interested in the use of functional foods in the treatment and management of human genetic diseases such as sickle cell disease, diabetes etc.
