Biography
Miss Sarocha Jitrakorn has got a BSc. in 2008 form program of Medical Science, Burapha University. she has started her work as research assistant in Shrimp Molecular Biology and Biotechnology laboratory, National Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (BIOTEC) Thailand for 10 years. Her work is focusing on shrimp viral diseases and viral protection by using dsRNA from RNAi technology. Currently, with her interest, she is developing method for detection on fish virus and using cells line for propagation and purification viruses
Research interests
My work is focusing on shrimp viral diseases and viral protection by using dsRNA from RNAi technology. Currently, with my interest, I am developing method for detection on fish virus and using cells line for propagation and purification viruses and now main research interests is investigating potential vaccine and diagnosis of fish megalocytivirus, infectious spleen and kidney necrosis virus (ISKNV) that is a hidden cause of disease in farmed Asian seabass.
