Biography
Phan Thi Phuong Trang received her BSc (1999) and MSc (2003) from the University of Science, Vietnam National University – Ho Chi Minh City. She completed her PhD at the University of Bayreuth – Germany in 2007. After that, she was trained as a post-doc at Max Planck Institue for 4 years. Since 2015, she has received the decision on the appointment of Associate Professor from the government. Thus far, she has been a lecturer at the University of Science, Vietnam National University – Ho Chi Minh City. Her research interest and specialisation are in the area of Molecular biology, Microbiology, Protein biology, and Environmental Microbiology.

Projects you're working on
Study on biological conversion of paper waste sludge from recycling paper mills into nanocellulose for paper production. Development of oral and immersion vaccines against Aeromonas hydrophila and Edwardsiella ictaluri for striped catfish using Bacillus subtilis as vaccine delivery vector.
