Biography
Tien T. Dang earned her PhD from the Institute for Molecular Bioscience at the University of Queensland in Australia. She is a scientist with over ten years of laboratory expertise. Proficient in the disciplines of molecular biology and proteomics. Her laboratory is dedicated to advancing the field of peptide-based and natural product development in Vietnam. These products have a diverse range of applications, including bio-pesticides and supplementary nutrients for plant crops. The laboratory focuses on developing antimicrobial products tailored for animal husbandry purposes. She has expertise in using biomaterials to improve the specificity and efficiency of peptide-based products, particularly in the field of drug design. She has made progress in promoting Vietnam's growing proteomics sector. She can contribute in identification of epitopes displayed on the B. subtilis cell surface by proteomics approach.
