Biography
 PhD in 2018 from University of Gent, Belgium (Molecular Epidemiology of Tick-Borne Diseases)  Certificate of completion of courses on Epidemiology, Statistics and Risk analysis from 12/01/2015 to 27/02/2015, 12 Credits at the Institute of Tropical medicine, Antwerp, Belgium  MSc degree in 2010 from Institute of Tropical Medicine, Belgium with specialization in Animal Disease Control  DVM degree in 1999 from Addis Ababa University, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Agriculture
Research interests
My major research interests include: Epidemiology of infectious diseases; development, evaluation and monitoring of vaccines and assessment of impacts of animal health interventions such vaccination on the the livelihoods of smallholder farmers.
