Biography
I completed a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science at the University of Warwick, before starting a taught master’s degree at the University of Birmingham which included a research project in immunology and immunotherapy. During my MSc project, he examined the adjuvanticity effects of invariant natural killer T cells for Salmonella vaccine. Following my master’s degree, I joined Professor Andy Clark's team at the institute of Inflammation in University of Birmingham as a research assistant. I examined the interaction of an endogenous anti-inflammatory protein and its activator. I am now a PhD student at the Pirbright institute in Professor Elma Tchilian's group. In my PhD project, I am comparing and contrasting the immune response against influenza and coronaviruses in pig models.
