Biography
I completed my B. Sc. (Hons) (ranked 7th) and M. Sc. (ranked 5th) from the University of Calcutta in 2015 and 2017 respectively. Currently, I am pursuing Ph.D from IISER-Kolkata, under the supervision of Dr. Amirul Islam Mallick (Host Pathogen Interaction Lab). My research interests include virology, especially the development of an alternative approach to augment avian influenza infection in poultry.
Research interests
To understand the mechanisms of host-pathogen interactions at the molecular level, and introduce cytokine-based approaches as an alternative avenue to control AIV infections.
