Dr. Anis Suraya is a molecular biologist who obtained her Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Molecular Biology from the Institute of Bioscience, Universiti Putra Malaysia. Her doctoral research specialised in avian virology, with particular emphasis on avian influenza virus and fowlpox virus. Her research encompasses viral immunology, molecular characterisation of avian viruses, and vaccine-related studies, employing advanced molecular and cellular techniques. Her work contributes to a deeper understanding of avian viral pathogenesis and supports the development of effective control and prevention strategies for poultry diseases.
