I am Dr. Shafi, postdoctoral fellow at UFRGS, Brazil. The main focus of my research is; morphological and molecular identification of tropical ticks and the wide range of pathogens they harbor, and more importantly development of anti tick vaccine for controlling these hazardous parasites.
