Biography
I am Samuel Tezera, and I work at the University of Gondar, College of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Sciences in Ethiopia. I earned my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Mekelle University, an MSc in Veterinary Epidemiology from Jimma University, and an MSc in Tropical Animal Health from the Institute of Tropical Medicine in Belgium. Additionally, I graduated from the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master “Leading International Vaccinology Education” which is organized by Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Barcelona, ES, Universitat de Barcelona, Barcelona, ES. Universiteit Antwerpen, Antwerp, BE, Université Jean Monnet , Saint-Etienne, FR, Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1, Lyon, FR. Through these MSc programs, I had the opportunity to gain in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge in advanced immunology, microbiome science, infectiology, microbiology, One Health, host-pathogen interactions, vaccinology, epidemiology, and project management.
