Matthieu Privat is a passionate life sciences professional with a strong commitment to advancing vaccine innovation for both human and animal health. Currently contributing to the mission at Q-VANT Biosciences, Matthieu plays a key role in bridging scientific development and commercial partnerships, with a special focus on saponin vaccine adjuvants.
With a background rooted in biotechnology and computer science at the University of Liverpool, Matthieu brings a multidisciplinary perspective to the veterinary and vaccinology space where Machine Learning, chemistry and and biology intersect. Research interests

At Q-VANT Biosciences, research efforts are focused on leveraging the immunostimulatory properties of saponin adjuvants and saponin formulations to enhance the efficacy of existing and next-generation vaccines.
Independently, Matthieu Privat is exploring the application of machine learning algorithms to automate and optimize the purification workflows of saponin fractions, with the goal of improving yield, consistency, and scalability. He is also researching virtual screening studies to investigate the potential of saponin compounds to interact with Pattern Recognition Receptors (PRRs), aiming to elucidate their mechanism of action and inform rational adjuvant design.
