Biography
I am dedicated veterinary professional with a strong background in animal health and biotechnology. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science from Bahir Dar University in 2016. Following graduation, I began my career at the Dodota Woreda Livestock and Fisheries Office, where I served for two years from May 2017 to May 2019 as an Animal Science Extension and Health Care expert, contributing to animal health services and community-based veterinary outreach programs. In 2019, I joined the National Veterinary Institute (NVI); I currently work as a Senior QC Laboratory Technologist in the Viral Vaccine Quality Control department. In this role, I play a key part in cell culture media preparation, cell culture preparation (cell propagation, cell reviving and cell preservation), vaccine production, ensuring the safety, potency, and quality of viral vaccines critical to animal health in Ethiopia. Further enhancing my expertise, I hold a Master’s degree in Biotechnology from Adama Science and Technology University, equipping me with advanced skills in molecular biology, vaccine development, and quality assurance processes. I am currently working on veterinary vaccine development and evaluation, with a strong commitment to advancing animal health. My goal is to contribute meaningfully to the global community by applying my expertise to develop safe, effective, and reliable vaccines that protect animal populations and support sustainable agriculture. I am passionate about collaborative work and believe that meaningful progress in this field requires strong partnerships and shared innovation. Therefore, I welcome opportunities to connect with researchers, professionals, and institutions involved in vaccine development, testing, or related disciplines. If you are working in this field and are open to collaboration, please feel free to reach out — I am ready and eager to work together toward shared goals and global impact.
