Biography
I am a scientist-by-training with interest in infectious disease biology. Previous experience includes managing an international coronavirus network and supporting the Hiscox Lab (University of Liverpool) research portfolio. Projects managed included US FDA, UKRI, UK Government and European-funded projects.
I have just started a new role as Programme Lead for the BRITE project under the leadership of Dr Becky Jones-Phillips and Dr Ezekiel Boro, where I hope to utilise and combine MBA learnings with my scientific and technical know-how. Research interests
Parasitologist by training with experience in serology, advanced cell culture and molecular diagnostics. Several years ago I became the project manager for the UK International Coronavirus Network which was focused on creating cross-disciplinary and international partnerships.
Projects you're working on
Currently leading the Biologics Regional Innovation and Technology Ecosystem project for Liverpool City Region in the UK, led by Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine.
