Biography

I am a veterinarian from Mexico with research experience in infectious diseases, immunology, microbiology, molecular biology and vaccine development. Before moving to the Netherlands, I lived in the UK for 7 years where I obtained a PhD in Immunity and Infection from the University of Birmingham and worked as a Postdoc at the Animal Health Trust where I focused on a project that aimed to generate a more effective vaccine against strangles in horses. I currently work at the Department of Medical Microbiology (Amsterdam UMC) as a Postdoctoral Researcher for the CANVAS project.
