Knowledge Transfer Network
Biography

The Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN) helps businesses get the best out of creativity, ideas and the latest discoveries, to strengthen the UK economy and improve people’s lives. KTN links new ideas and opportunities with expertise, markets and finance through our network of businesses, universities, funders and investors. From agri-food to autonomous systems and from energy to design, KTN combines in-depth knowledge in all sectors with the ability to cross boundaries.

My focus on Livestock and Aquaculture involves helping not only those from the traditional agriculture landscape, but also increasingly those from outside the sector, to support innovation across the livestock industry. I am also responsible for KTN’s co-ordination of BBSRC’s Animal Health Research Club.

I have a background in animal health and production, with an MSci in Veterinary Bioscience. Prior to joining KTN, I led R&D projects across different areas (nutrition, health and technology) and species at a leading animal nutrition company.
