Khalil zro was born on December 6 in 1971, in Kenitra-Morocco.  He received his DVM degree in 1996 from the Hassan II Agricultural and Veterinary Institute in Rabat-Morocco and His PhD in 2014 from Technical Science Faculty of Mohammadia-Morocco.

He joined the Ministry of Agriculture in March 1997 where he worked mainly in the field of animal health. He was nominated director of the regional laboratory for analysis and research in Oujda in 2005. Since 2012 he holds the position of head of diagnosis, research and development department at Biopharma which is a public establishment of veterinary vaccine products.
